  • Bayshore Shopping Centre

    Bayshore Shopping Centre is a major shopping mall located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, more specifically in the former independent city of Nepean, Ontario. The mall is one of the busiest in the National Capital Region as it attracts about 7 million visitors per year from all of the city as well as from outside Ottawa. The mall is commonly called simply "Bayshore" by local residents.

  • Billings Bridge Plaza

    The Billings Bridge Plaza is a shopping centre located in Ottawa, Canada. Originally built in 1954, it was the first shopping centre built in the city. It did not become enclosed until 1975. It is located immediately south of the Rideau River on the corner of Bank Street and Riverside Drive, beside a large athletics complex, the RA Centre. The anchor stores are Zellers and Your Independent Grocer. It is a medium-sized mall by modern standards with 85 stores.

  • Carlingwood Mall

    Carlingwood Mall (or also called Carlingwood Shopping Centre) is a major mall located in the west end of the city of Ottawa, Ontario. It is operated by 20 Vic Management Incorporated. The mall opened in 1956 and was one of the city's first major shopping centres.

    The shopping centre contains 120 stores and services on a single enclosed level. Its form is generally a large rectangular hallway with secondary branching halls from the six entrances. Offices and services including the management office are located on a small second level in the northwest corner of the building. There are also two small underground sections which include a Dollarama, The Bargain Shop and a Premier Fitness Centre.

  • Emerald Plaza

    Emerald Plaza is a small shopping centre with an office tower on Merivale Road. It replaced Minto's warehouse operations site in 1985.

    The ground floor is retail space, including a Chinese buffet, a TD Canada Trust bank, a branch of the Nepean Library, and a Super Pet, among many others. The office tower is Federal Government offices.

    The property borders on the Meadowlands shopping centre and includes underground parking.

  • Freiman Mall

    Freiman Mall is an enclosed arcade between Rideau and George Streets in Downtown Ottawa, Canada, east of Sussex Drive and west of William Street. For practical purposes, "Freiman Mall" often refers not only to this walkway but also the building immediately west, collectively a shopping mall owned and almost exclusively occupied by the Hudson's Bay Company.

    The mall is considered a separate entity from The Bay department store, although The Bay occupies the vast majority of the building. Hence it is possible to enter the building (which has entrances reading "Hudson's Bay Company") without entering the store itself (which has separate entrances, most with the nameplate "The Bay / La Baie").

  • Hazeldean Mall

    Hazeldean Mall is a shopping centre located in Ottawa, Canada at the intersection of Eagleson Road and Hazeldean Road, where Hazeldean Road changes turns into Robertson Road.

    First opening around 1980, Hazeldean Mall was anchored by Steinberg's and Towers. Many other stores and services were available, including a branch of the TD Bank, although it later moved across the street on Hazeldean Road next to Blockbuster Video, and then moved again to the Farm Boy Plaza. The decor of the mall was very dark, with floors of brown brick and wood panels.

  • Merivale Mall

    The Merivale Mall is a medium-sized shopping centre located on Merivale Road in the south-west of Ottawa, Ontario owned by Darton Properties. During the 1970s and 1980s, Merivale Mall was anchored by the two story Woolco store at the south end, and by A&P at the north. When Wal-Mart bought Woolco's operations in 1994, the Merivale Mall store was closed as opposed to being converted to a Wal-Mart as some others were. The space is now occupied by SportChek on the first floor, as well as the YMCA on the second level. The space formerly occupied by A&P is now a Farm Boy.

  • Place d'Orléans

    Place d'Orléans is a large shopping mall in the eastern end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, in the community of Orléans. The property is about 76,500 sq ft (7,110 m2). It currently holds three large department stores (SportChek, Zellers and The Bay) and about 175 small shops, including a food court. Other prominent shops included the Market Fresh grocery store (The company pulled out of Ontario, due to declining profits, on December 30, 2005, now Boathouse and Goodlife Fitness fill the vacated space), and, once the focus of the mall itself, the recently moved Wal-Mart. In early May 2006, Zellers opened a new store in the large retail space vacated by Wal-Mart.

  • Rideau Centre

    Rideau Centre (Centre Rideau in French) is a three-level shopping centre on Rideau Street in downtown Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It borders on Rideau Street (and the Byward Market), the Rideau Canal, the Mackenzie King Bridge, and Nicholas Street.

    The Rideau Centre opened on March 16, 1983, and today it is a major transport and shopping hub in downtown Ottawa. The centre's proximity to the shops in the Byward Market and on Rideau Street, and its location near most of the City's main attractions, contribute to its status as one of the region's top shopping and tourist destinations.

    The Rideau Centre complex also includes approximately 180 other retailers, the Westin Hotel, a rooftop park, a movie theatre and the Ottawa Congress Centre. With 740,757 sq ft (68,818.6 m2) in size it is the fourth largest shopping centre in the Ottawa-Gatineau area (behind the St. Laurent Centre, Les Promenades de l'Outaouais and Bayshore Shopping Centre). Significant expansions of both the Rideau Centre and the Convention Centre are planned for the near future.

  • St. Laurent Shopping Centre

    St. Laurent Shopping Centre (also known as St. Laurent) is a major shopping centre located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada owned and operated by Morguard REIT. The shopping mall is located just north of Highway 417 at the corner of St. Laurent Boulevard and Coventry Road. It opened its doors in 1967.

    St. Laurent is the largest mall in terms of total space in the National Capital Region with 90,200 square metres (971,000 sq ft) of gross leasable area. It is currently the 27th largest mall in Canada. The owner has applied to the City of Ottawa for land use planning approvals to permit an expansion of the mall, bringing the overall size to 121,000 square metres (1,300,000 sq ft). If approved, the expansion is expected to be completed between 2014 and 2015, and would make St. Laurent the tenth largest mall in Canada.

    OC Transpo's St. Laurent Station is connected to the mall. It has three levels, one in a tunnel which is the main transitway, the mezzanine which connects the shopping centre, and a local platform on the upper level where OC Transpo routes 5, 7, 14 and 18 all end or start their trips. The tunnel-level is accessible via escalators from the mall. OC Transpo also have a client service kiosk. The station opened in 1987 and the mall had an expansion of about 80 stores at the same time.

    The shopping centre has a total of 195 stores and services on two levels.

  • Westgate Shopping Centre

    Westgate Shopping Centre is a small scale shopping centre in West Ottawa bordering Carling Avenue, Merivale Road, and Highway 417, owned by RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust.
